- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp ground ginger
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground cloves
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 3/4 cup molasses
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Dry Ingredients:
In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and spices. Set aside.
Wet Ingredients:
In a separate bowl, cream together softened butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
